Thanksgiving Leftovers

It’s the day after Thanksgiving and the fridge is full of food. Thanksgiving Leftovers have taken over! For me leftovers are just as good if not better than the real thing, however, you can only eat the same meal over and over before you never want to eat it again. Am I right? Let’s get creative! Today we’re going to discuss a few ways to enjoy those Thanksgiving Leftovers without getting sick of them. Gobble Gobble!

One of my favorite things to do with leftover turkey or ham is to make sandwiches! Hot or cold, these sandwiches are delicious. You can dress it up as fancy as you want, or leave it simple. Sandwiches are a great way to use up Thanksgiving Leftovers.

This is the perfect season for soup right? Transform the traditional “Chicken Noodle” into Turkey Noodle! This is a great way to incorporate some of the veggies you had with your Thanksgiving meal as well. Depending on how much soup you decide to make you may be able to freeze some for later. Meal prepping at its finest!

Can I also add the turkey pot pie? I love pot pies, but a homemade turkey pot pie sounds divine! If the word ‘homemade’ intimidates you I can help with that too! You can use Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (or biscuits) as the crust. Mix some cream of chicken, veggies, and that yummy turkey, pop it in the oven and Walaa! It will taste amazing and will not take as much time as those frozen store bought ones.

Who said Thanksgiving Leftovers had to be used only for lunch and dinner? Breakfast omelettes are delicious and easy! Check out allrecipes for a huge variety of Thanksgiving Leftovers recipes. Some are pretty interesting! A dish for every person in your family. 🙂

The holidays are just getting started and this means food, food, and yes more food! Don’t let the leftovers go to waste in your fridge! Check out Pinterest for ideas, they never let us down. 🙂 Keep the Thanksgiving vibe going, create new dishes, more memories, and happy bellies. Now that you have a whole new outlook on Thanksgiving Leftovers, start planning those meals, and always, Bon’ Apetite!
