Join us on this little Thanksgiving dinner guide!
Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen is one of the best spots for you to get a delicious Thanksgiving dinner at! They will be open starting at 10 am until 7 pm and they do not allow call-aheads. Best part about this particular restaurant? It’s at The Island so you can actually walk to it from our property! That’s right, no loading up the car and driving for you on this day if you choose this place. There will be a special Thanksgiving menu that you and the family are sure to love. It’s all served family style here so get ready to dig right in while laughter fills your table at this incredible dining establishment. Also, remember to get here early, lines start forming before the doors even open in the morning, so that must mean that this place is fantastic! This is one place you will definitely want to try on Thanksgiving. Don’t forget to ride their amazing Great Smoky Mountain Wheel before you leave since you get a free ticket for it while you’re staying with us! It’s a fantastic way to spend some extra special family time and see an incredible view of our Smokies while you do so. Best part about this ferris wheel? If it’s cold out, they have heated gondolas for us to enjoy!
The Old Mill Restaurant is next up on our Thanksgiving dinner list and I’m sure you probably already know why. This is one of the best and most popular restaurants in the Pigeon Forge area! They will be open from 11 am until 9 pm and will also be serving a very special Thanksgiving menu (that will hopefully include their delicious soup, mmm!) The meals are also served family style here so please make sure to come (extra) hungry! Just the decor alone here is enough to bring a sense of togetherness to your special holiday dinner at this incredible establishment. It’s no wonder why they’ve won Tripadvisor’s Certificate of Excellence in 2015! It’s bound to be a family favorite and you’ll be coming back here for years to come.
Still in the mood for a family style meal? We will definitely have to mention Mama’s Farmhouse then. Get ready to feel like you’re at home when you have some of the best southern cooking here in the area! They will be open from 10:30 am until 9 pm. Local tip: for parties of 6 or more, reservations are required so make sure you start calling ahead early to get your spot since this place is bound to be packed full of hungry families! Are you ready to feast on everything from fried chicken to homemade biscuits?! I think this place is singing your name already and it’s not even time for Thanksgiving dinner yet. It won’t come as a shock when you find out that they are the 2017 Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence winner as well as the Tripping award winning Best Family Friendly Restaurant in Tennessee! That’s right, not just Pigeon Forge, but Tennessee as a whole! You know you’re going to have an amazing and special family meal here.
This wouldn’t be a complete blog article talking about amazing Thanksgiving meals if we didn’t mention the Alamo Steakhouse! If you and the family want a good, and I mean GOOD, steak for your special meal then this is just the place for you guys. They will be open from 11 am until 10 pm and they will be serving their mouthwatering menu that will leave our stomachs feeling successfully satisfied. From seafood to beef, beef, and more beef, their food is just simply amazing no matter what you happen to order while you’re here. This is why they won the 2017 Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence, you just can’t beat this place especially during the holidays! Your family will be full of a bunch of happy campers after this meal, they’ll probably want to spend Thanksgiving dinner here every year (don’t say we didn’t warn you!)
So you’re in Tennessee and I don’t think we’d be giving justice to a real Thanksgiving dinner list if we didn’t mention some barbeque, am I right?! Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que is the family owned place to be if you’re wanting a good rib (and more) meal! I have to be honest here though and tell you that my actual favorite thing here is their homemade bread, oh my goodness, it is delicious. They really know how barbeque is done here. According to their website, their beef is cooked over hickory wood and smoked for over 14 hours, I mean, does it really get any better and tasteful than that? With over six years of winning the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence, I think we definitely believe and have no doubt that they know what they’re doing here to serve us one incredible and fantastic family meal. They will be open from 10 am until 10 pm, see you all there!
